Camila Gomez is a sophomore and journalist at MAST Academy. This is her second-year
writing for The Beacon “I chose to continue journalism because I’m really committed to
covering school news and writing news stories helps you practice writing in a short
informative way which is really helpful for writing even outside of just news stories.”
Besides school, she really enjoys American football. “If this school had an American
football team I would love to cover it for the newspaper.”
