Olivia Crisan is a freshman first year writer and editor of MAST Academy’s newspaper, “The Beacon”. She’s passionate about reading and writing and hopes to familiarize herself with the journalistic writing style and gain experience from her peers and mentors. She aims to focus on the Beacon’s column, ‘senior spotlight’ to highlight impactful 12th graders that have made a difference not only within the walls of MAST, but to the community and beyond. Additionally, Olivia will be reporting on all the latest events in Miami and keeping readers of “The Beacon” up-to-date with all the most exciting affairs in the community. Outside of writing and literature, Olivia devotes herself to volleyball and exercise.
