MAST Academy’s 2024 Senior and Junior Prom takes place this weekend at Jungle Island, Saturday, Apr. 6 from 7-11pm. The theme is masquerade.

Field trip, event agreement, and guest forms can be turned in during all lunch periods today and tomorrow in exchange for a prom ticket.

Seniors will be attending GradBash at Universal Studios Friday, Apr. 19. Field trip forms must be turned into activities director, Ms. Jennifer Fernandez, by Apr. 5.

As previously announced, the MAST’s class of 2024 graduation is at the Adrienne Arsht Center’s Ziff Concert Hall Jun. 5 at 3pm.

Graduation practices will be held in the auditorium on Apr. 5 at 10:00 am, May 31. 9:10 am, and Jun. 3 at 9:10 am.

Lastly, senior activities will take place Jun. 4 at 8:30am

Kamilah Gurdián, Editor in Chief
Kamilah Gurdián is a senior at MAST Academy. As of 2023, she is starting her third year as a student at MAST at the age of 17. She used to attend iPrep Academy North during her freshmen year, but wanted to attend MAST since she was in Grade 5. Along with her, her younger brother who’s in Grade 7 attends MAST as well. She a first-generation immigrant in America and her mom is from Colombia and her dad is from Nicaragua. She is interested in math as a future career and takes multiple math classes.
