Students share their quarantine routines

Beacon reporter Ravi Lima asked a few students to share their quarantine routines. We have listed them below.

Jennifer Lawrie-Brooks (senior)

9am – 10am: Wake up and eat breakfast with my family

10am – 11am: Meditate and practice some yoga

11am – 12pm: Walk and play with my dog in the grass area behind my building

12pm – 3pm: Paint in my balcony with my family while listening to some music

3pm – 4pm: Catch up on any schoolwork I haven’t done yet

4pm – 5pm: Prepare and eat lunch with my family

5pm – 7pm: Watch a movie on Netflix or play a board game with my family

7pm – 9pm: Read a book or start a new one depending on how I feel

9pm – 10pm: Prepare dinner for my family and eat

10pm – 12am: Chat with friends on FaceTime

12am: Go to sleep

Isabella De Miguel (senior)

9am – 10am: Wake up, cook breakfast, and have my morning coffee

10am – 11am: Check and update my planner to see if I have any extra assignments on Edmodo or Google Classroom

11am – 1pm: Catch up on schoolwork

1pm – 2pm: Prepare and eat lunch with my mom

2pm – 4pm: Relax in my room while talking to my family and friends through the phone

4pm – 5pm: Read, paint, organize my room, watch Netflix, or bake

5pm – 6pm: Do my daily at home workout

6pm – 7pm: Prepare and eat dinner with my mom

7pm – 8pm: Put on a face mask and listen to music in my room

8pm – 10pm: Watch a movie on Netflix

10pm-12am: Chat with my friends through FaceTime or the House Party app

12am: Go to sleep

Renata Volonterio (senior)

10am – 11am: Wake up and cook breakfast with my family

11am – 1pm: Do stretches and a daily at home workout

1pm – 3pm: Read a book while tanning outside in my balcony

3pm – 4pm: Prepare and eat lunch with my family

4pm – 6pm: Watch TV with my family and cuddle with my cat

6pm – 8pm: Check and update my agenda and complete any missing schoolwork for the next day

8pm-9pm: Prepare and eat dinner with my family

9pm – 10pm: Play a board game or complete a puzzle with my family

10pm – 12am: Catch up with friends on WhatsApp

12am – 1am: Continue reading the book Normal People by Sally Rooney

1am: Go to sleep

Iliza Aguiar (senior)

12pm – 1pm: Wake up and make myself some breakfast (anything from an acai bowl to scrambled eggs)

1pm – 2pm: Watch some TV (preferably That 70’s Show) while eating my breakfast

2pm – 5pm: Either I go tanning outside, go paddle boarding in the canal, or swimming in the pool

5pm – 6pm: Prepare and eat a light lunch with my family

6pm – 7pm: Go for a bike ride in my neighborhood and do my daily at home workout

7pm – 9pm: Take a shower and continue painting on the walls in my room

9pm – 10pm: Prepare and eat dinner with my family

10pm – 11pm: Chat and catch up with my friends through FaceTime

11pm – 12am: Read a little bit

12am – 2am: Watch an interesting movie on Netflix or a Quentin Tarantino movie
