On Oct. 12, MAST Academy’s anticipated annual pep rally was cancelled due to rain. The pep rally consisted of a series of competitions that included dancing, pushups, eating pie, and playing tic-tac-toe. Red, white, blue, and yellow face paint ran down the faces of its high schoolers as they ran back to class in the rain, disappointed. For its seniors, this disappointment was doubled as they feared that they would not be able to participate in the pep rally their last year. This was not the case, however.
Luckily, later during the day, the pep rally was redone and the students were able to come back to see the full show and give everyone a fair chance to win the competition. After the second pep rally ended, the seniors proudly claimed their win.
