The amount of cases in the United States as of October 6 are 7,458,550, with a total of 210,192 deaths. In Florida, the amount of cases per day and the amount of deaths per day have been decreasing over the last few months, and it seems that they will continue to decrease.
On Friday, October 2nd, Trump and his wife Melania tested positive for coronavirus. President Trump is at high risk because of his age (74-years-old), so he will be going into quarantine at the White House.
“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” Trump tweeted on Friday at 12:54 a.m.
As we approach the holidays, we can see that they will be different this year. The CDCP has advised that trick-or-treating, Halloween parties, and any other events that are high risk for coronavirus should be be avoided. Many traditional events are closing this Halloween, including Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando.
